Candace Bushnell

Candace Bushnell is een Amerikaanse schrijver en journalist die vooral bekend is om haar roman uit 1996 “Sex and the City”, die werd aangepast tot de gelijknamige televisieserie. Ze heeft ook de boeken “Lipstick Jungle” (2005), “One Fifth Avenue” (2008), “The Carrie Diaries” (2010) en “Is There Still Sex in the City?” (2019) geschreven.

Bushnell baseerde haar boeken op haar eigen ervaringen als alleenstaande vrouw in New York City. Haar werk verkent thema’s als liefde, relaties, seks en mode. Bushnell heeft ook columns geschreven voor publicaties als The New York Observer en Vogue.
